PC Play Show 2021 review: watch every pok and the full show here
This year's PC Gaming Show off render aired Su, June 13, beaming 39 new videos, game announcements, and interviews at the world from our new spaceship (and Frankie's new mech). You can observe the whole show preceding.
The 2021 PC Gaming Bear witness featured (among a great umteen other things) a closer look into at Dying Sandy 2, untried stuff from New Blood Interactive (non including this Gloomwood picture), a new trailer from Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, a truncated appearing by Valve (yes, that Valve), and new self-complacent from studios including Frontier, Fellow traveler, Tripwire Interactive, Humble Games, Ishtar Games, and Alawar Games.
Below, you'll find 2021 Personal computer Play Reveal's trailers and segments as individual videos, in case you want to jump to a specific part of the show. On that point were some earnestly cool-looking games. For our news coverage of everything at the show, including about deeper dives into what was shown, head to the PC Gaming Show 2021 word Thomas Nelson Page.
Naraka Bladepoint
A battle royale game that focuses on sword combat, martial humanistic discipline acrobatics, and a grappling hook and mounting system that would make Breath of the Inhospitable rosiness. There's also magical abilities, ilk the power to turn into a multi-armed devil. It features the biggest chain saw we've ever seen, to kicking.
Dodgeball Academia
Dodgeball is certainly making a comeback, as shown in this sports-infused venture that mixes real-time combat and RPG skills, like-minded kamehameha blasts that I'm pretty sure would disqualify you in IRL gym class. We scoped out inside information in the debut trailer, which appears to include 3v3 matches, boss fights, time trials, and more.
Chivalry 2
The limb-chopping medieval fighting sim is out in real time, only of course we can expect updates that add more shipway for Frasier Brown to die light-headedly. During the Microcomputer Play Show, we got a calculate at the approaching Galencourt map, which features a port city and cathedral filled with monks.
Rawmen
Conceive of Splatoon, but with way more noodles and semi-nude dudes sailing around on unlimited broth. We got inside information on five different modes players can compete in, including "Team Meatball," which is like capture the flag, merely with a giant meatball you roll around like in Katamari.
Death Floodlighted 2
The zombie parkour sequel has been a long time coming, but we're still learning details about how the day/night cycle leave change up your death-defying antics. That is to say, zombies leave their indoor Oregon hush-hush lairs during the night, going away them bird's-eye open for looters to come get valuable resources, if you don't succumb to your have transmission first.
Humankind
A 4X strategy game built to rival Civilization, but with a more than bigger accent on multicultural influences. Your neighboring countries will obviously impact how your society grows and evolves, and different eras bequeath offer different cultures to adopt social group traits from. Oh, and they put PC Gaming Show host Frankie Ward in the game.
They Ever Run
What's better than an alien cyber-terrorist ninja cowbow? How close to an alien cyber-terrorist ninja cowboy with three blazon? The extra arm makes for some interesting combat, letting you throw bad guys, interact with the environment, and generally mercilessly hunt your bounties through handpainted environments.
Orcs Must Choke 3
We learned that Orcs Must Die 3 is finally coming to Steam, having antecedently been exclusive to Stadia. The predominate United States Department of Defense dealership gets rideable weapons, two-player online co-op, and "State of war Scenarios" that ramp up the scale of battles.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
This Vampire: The Masquerade gritty was announced before Bloodlines 2, but information technology's finally emerged from the shadows with a fresh trailer concentrated happening Leysha of the Malkavian clan. Swansong is is a third-person RPG that puts you in the shoes of vampires from disparate clans, to each one with their own feelings along that whole "hiding from humanity" business.
GigaBash
Finally, the kaiju brawler you've all been crying for since Destroy All Monsters. We got first inside information on this four-player brawler, including super-sizing powerups, environmental hazards like lava, and plenty of buildings to chuck. It even has an Ultraman knockoff.
Lemnis Gate
A competitive FPS where you play a time-looping operator. All 25 seconds, you respawn, but your old copies follow hind and rerun your previous actions. So if soul grenades your old operator, get your revenge on the next loop piece your copies work towards additive objectives. Eat your heart out, Looper.
Next Blank Rebels
Imagine Kerbal Space Program, but with an actual narrative stress thanks to FMV cutscenes particularization the journey of a sham rocket-construction organization. The debut trailer gives the States spate of rockets grownup and small to attach teddy bears to.
WarTales
From the team behind Northgard, Evoland, and Darksburg, you'll lead a band of mercenaries through a plague-ridden kingdom, balancing survival mechanics with management, and of course plow-based battles. There's no fantasize elements either, unless you count the plague turning folks into flesh-hungry crazies.
Ixion
A space station management sim with big Frostpunk vibes. Earth is toast, and you'rhenium captaining a space ark, tasked with reconciliation all the logistical and emotional of necessity of your wards, who might befuddle you out of power.
Far: Changing Tides
The followup to Far: Lone Sails, this situatio-apocalypse adventure trades desert wastes for treacherous Ethel Waters. During the show, we saw how the role player lineament put up explore well on the far side the limits of the lowest courageous, climbing rickety towers, trek through abandoned cities, and more.
Lakeburg Legacies
If the video thumbnail didn't give it away, this chivalric management sim lets you concentre on being a tampering matcher, with the financial concerns merely being a backcloth for your act every bit cupid. You'll match folks up settled on their trait compatibilities, and if they arrive at it off, you'll get improved pawns for your kingdom down the line. Much like Social reformer Kings 3, Lakeburg hopes to urging expectant tales of love and/or woe.
Killing Knock down 2: Interstellar Insanity
The zombie shooter goes to the moon, with two new weekly outbreaks (Scavenger and Arachnophobia) new weapons, and low gravity.
MechWarrior 5 developer question
Silt up
Abzu meets Limbo in this nervous side-swimming adventure. Thankfully you're not entirely alone, as you can have pocket-size sea puppet to figure out puzzles and obstacles.
Hello Neighbour 2
We got a trade name new trailer for the sequel to cult Darling Hi Neighbor. Expanding the conception of the original, you'll explore a town where everything feels a little... wrong... busting into multiple homes to uncover their sick secrets.
Jurassic Cosmos Evolution 2
Declared at the PC Gaming Prove, this continuation brings back Frontier's brand of dinosaur-raising and park managing gameplay. With the next Jurassic Earthly concern moving picture due out eventually, I wouldn't be surprised if we see both elements shared in the game. Hopefully Frontier has spruced things up in the heat of Planet Zoological garden's success.
New Blood teasers
Newspaper publisher Fresh Blood collected a bunch of games we already knew about into a trailer, but enclosed brief glimpses at five unannounced games in variable states of development. We've got a top-down shooter, a Fallout-style RPG, a car combat game, a creepy optical novel, and a first-soul ax-tramp. Peep our interview with Current Ancestry's CEO for the details.
Gabe Newell
Gloomwood
This technically wasn't in the show, only we meant to include it. Assume't follow fooled by the low-polygonal art style. Gloomwood mixes immersive sim stealth mechanics with a dark occult vibe, and Morgan called the trailer the incomparable thing he byword at E3
Soulstice
Despite having "souls" in the title, Soulstice isn't all Dark Souls inspired. Its combat is much more mistakable to it of a Platinum game. Developer Samuele Perseo says he was inspired by the 70's and 80's anime imported into Italy, and information technology shows when the booster swings a giant sword look-alike Demoniac's Guts.
Computer hardware reveals
Warhammer Chaos Gate
A new tactical RPG in the 40K universe, Daemonhunters lets you take over the Grey Knights, one of the Imperium's scariest factions, who as you might imagine run anything—literally anything—corrupted by the Warp. We got a teaser trailer and one very cool factoid: It's organism written by Aaron Dembski-Bowden, generator of numerous (and I do entail many) 40K novels.
EVE Online Academy
EVE Online is a fascinating game, but sure as shooting daunting to anyone WHO isn't a spreadsheet management wunderkind. Thankfully, CCP Games announced a new website designed to help new players take their first steps into distance warfare.
Pioner
An ambitious FPS that sports a ton of thematic similarities to Stalker, and evidently includes a campaign, a co-op adventure, and an MMO-the like open world that blends encounters both written and sudden. We dig the ex post facto Soviet aesthetic, armor and equipment customization, and literary influences.
Lumberhill
Lumberhill is to tree-chopping what Overcooked was to onion-chopping. That wacky 4-player gameplay translates to pterodactyls abducting you, pandas rolling over you, and pirates scrubbing the deck with you... metaphorically. It's out now on Steam clean.
Arboria
Leaving early access this Noble, Arboria is a dreary fantasy roguelite where you keep dive as a mutant warrior looking answers close to their tribe. Expect lots of icky, squishy monsters and caves to plunge through.
Tinykin
There's zero problem that prat't Be resolved by throwing flyspeck aliens at it. This Honey, I Contracted the Kids-panach adventure blends 2D characters with oversized 3D environments, all wrapped rising in a Pikmin-like packet, and it's charming as heck.
Chernobylite
The Left 4 Murdered genre is having a rebirth, but do we talk enough about the Russian put up-apocalypse shooter genre having its consequence? Chernobylite leaves early access in July, and appears to constitute building towards a radioactive heist arrange in the infamous nuclear tycoo plant. We got the first look into in the novel trailer.
SacriFire
Sacrifire combines Vagrant Story's RPG elements with Octopath Traveler's beautiful see. This Finis-ready-made crippled wants to conjure the flavor of '90s JRPG classics without being weighed down by scores of genre baggage. Thank goodness. Go over our huge interview with send off lead Bartosz Ćojewski to better understand what they're aiming for, and check away their Kickstarter.
Icarus
A revolutionary survival of the fittest game from the creator of DayZ and New Zealand's RocketWerkz. You'll sport atomic number 3 some sort of cosmonaut rocketing down from distance onto a new satellite, build log cabins, watch them accidentally fire, and shoot arrows at suspiciously large bears, mammoths, and wolves crosswise different biomes.
Mechajammer
Antecedently titled "Copper Dreams," this tactical CRPG draws inspiration from '80s action flicks suchlike Eradicator, Robocop, or Shake Other York. Feel out our interview with the dev to see how they Leslie Townes Hope to make an isometric Deus Ex.
The Mobile Village
Everyone loves a city builder and dinosaurs, so why not compound the two? We got a new trailer for this societal strategy game where your hometown is constantly on the move, and you'll need to hang to the beast carrying you along its back Eastern Samoa often as the villagers you build homes for.
Death Trash
"Gorepunk." IT just feels nice to state. Blood, muck, and stand bile are combined in pixel prowess for this spread ou-ended RPG with time period dialogue and brutal scrimmage and ranged combat. Watch information technology entirely with a bucket by your side in the new trailer.
Songs of Conquest
This gorgeous strategy RPG combines isometric views with lush picture element art, and we finally have a give up windowpane and brand-new gameplay above. You'll produce a kingdom and use your troops to get bigger wizard powers, fight four different factions, and an in-biz agitate creator.
Citizen Sleeper
Play American Samoa a "Slumberer" agent, forced to finish unmated jobs connected a bustling space platform known as "The Eye," whenever you're not in a forced state of sleep. Citizen Sleeper combines dice roll mechanics (think Dicey Dungeons and Tharsis) with a sci-fi narrative where each sidereal day is a new chance to possibly...possibly...hopefully escape servitude.
Send off Warlock 2
The archetype Project Warlock was a modernized, much flashier take over happening classic Doomsday and Wolfenstein gameplay. The sequel ramps everything up in telescope and style, and promises to let players blend magic spells with guns overmuch more effectively this fourth dimension around.
